We Build Allies & Invest in Leaders

Learn, Give, and Live Out Racial Justice—Together.

Core Values

  • We are better together, allowing for room at the table for everyone. We value input from the Community.

  • We actively listen to leaders of color committed to justice and equity.

  • We embrace the discomfort surrounding talking about race and its history, and in that tension press forward towards everyone's flourishing.

  • We are transparent and accountable to the community.

  • We serve alongside WITH, not above, people and organizations promoting justice and equity.

  • We honor, amplify, and elevate the life and culture of people of color.

    LEARN

We first LEARN from voices dedicated to reconciliation, racial justice and allyship. We offer classes and book cohorts about allyship and history learning.

    GIVE

We intentionally  GIVE of our financial resources to leaders of colors that work for justice and equity. We believe in trust-based philanthropy.

    LIVE OUT JUSTICE

We LIVE OUT JUSTICE in our daily lives by engaging in new relationships, using our voices, skills and resources to uplift and empower BIPOC organizations and people. We won’t always get it right, but we will act in courage.

  • Line of interconnected hands in a circle, with a reflection underneath, forming a chain of unity.

    Community Building

We BUILD COMMUNITY by creating spaces where aspiring allies connect, support one another, and grow together in their justice journeys. Through our cohorts, gatherings, and ongoing conversations, we foster authentic relationships that sustain long-term commitment to racial equity, ensuring no one walks this path alone and that collective action amplifies individual impact.

Our Logo

Logo with a gold spiral design above the letters 'THC' and the word 'THE' written vertically to the left of the 'T'.

Pays homage to the African symbol for Ubuntu (oo-boon-tu) which simply means, "I am what I am because of who we all are."

Our flourishing is intertwined with the flourishing of everyone. Ubuntu embodies the idea of kindness, connectedness, collaboration, community and mutual caring for all. The three circles represent our three tenets of learning, giving and living out justice, which are always open and welcome to anyone who wants to sojourn with us.
