First some really good news! Philanthropic giving has increased by 400 % over the past two decades in the U.S. We’’re a country of generous givers!
But the disappointing news is only 8% of all philanthropic dollars are given to organizations led by people of color. That’s a huge giving gap!
It's not that givers are intentionally not funding organizations led by people of color, it's most likely people are only funding what they know; who they've funded in the past. That’s why we’re asking you to DIVERSIFY YOUR GIVING!
Did you know 100% of all donations to The Flourish Collective are given to our Impact Partners with leadership of color? Think of Flourish as your Racial Justice Mutual Fund for meaningful investment in minority-led organizations! Funding leaders of color is the key to big change in our society because they know first hand how best to meet their community’s needs.
We are a Racial Justice Giving Collective
We join together pooling our dollars to create a bigger impact for racial equity work. All Flourish Collective donations go to our Impact Partners. The Flourish Collective community decides together where to give the funds. We suggest a $1000 annual tax-deductible donation (we welcome folks to give more or less depending on their giving budget.)

We are building our local Flourish City Circles, geographically located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, New York Metro areas as well as Flourish Circles in Greenville, SC. (More forming soon!) You can assign your giving to a specific City Circle above.
