Table Talk
On May 21, our panel discussion brought together three distinguished Diversity, Equity and Inclusion experts to address critical workplace challenges. Jonathan Mayes (former SVP and Chief Diversity Officer for Albertsons Companies), Mikka Jackson (Founder & Coach at Mikka Jackson & Associates, former Deputy Director of Talent Management for the State of Indiana), and Venida C Rodman Jenkins (Director of the Speicher-Rubin Women's Center for Equity and Diversity at New Jersey City University) shared compelling insights on why diversity drives innovation and organizational excellence.
The panelists explored how inclusion impacts service quality, the measurable benefits of equitable practices, and practical strategies for navigating DEI conversations in challenging environments. Attendees left with evidence-based perspectives and actionable approaches for being effective allies in their communities.
