     Tanisha Walton, Founder

  • “Exploitation relies on isolation. The antidote is healthy, strong, empowering relationships.”

Core Values

Collaboration

We are better together seeking to make room at the table for everyone.

Courageous Conversations

We embrace the discomfort of talking honestly about race, pressing forward toward everyone's flourishing.

Humility

We listen and learn from leaders of color, committing to do better when we know better.

Alongside

We walk, learn, and serve alongside — not above — the people doing justice work

Joy & Celebration

Joy is resistance. We honor, amplify, and elevate the life and culture of people of color.

Trust & Safety

We are better together seeking to make room at the table for everyone.

Our Mission

LEARN

We commit to LEARNING from diverse voices of color as we unlearn historical biases, creating transformative experiences that convert knowledge into meaningful allyship and lasting change.

GIVE

Through collective GIVING, we fund visionary leaders & their organizations whose work creates measurable impact, uplifting communities and advancing justice through trust-based philanthropy.

LIVE OUT JUSTICE

We LIVE OUT JUSTICE by leveraging our voices, skills and resources to amplify communities of color and dismantle systemic racism, acting with both courage and humility in our commitment to meaningful change.

COMMUNITY BUILDING

We BUILD COMMUNITY by creating spaces where aspiring allies connect and grow together. Through cohorts, gatherings, and ongoing conversation, we foster relationships that sustain long-term commitment to racial equity — grounded in the belief that there is enough for all of us to flourish.

Our Logo

Pays homage to the African symbol for Ubuntu (oo-boon-tu) which simply means, "I am what I am because of who we all are."

Our flourishing is intertwined with the flourishing of everyone. Ubuntu embodies the idea of kindness, connectedness, collaboration, community and mutual caring for all. The three circles represent our three tenets of learning, giving and living out justice, which are always open and welcome to anyone who wants to sojourn with us.
