This Is Flourish

Aspiring Allies Committed to Learn, Give and Live Out Justice

  • LEARN

We first LEARN about anti-racism from voices dedicated to reconciliation, racial justice and allyship. We offer classes and book cohorts about allyship and history learning.

  • GIVE

We intentionally  GIVE of our financial resources to leaders of colors that work for justice and equity. We believe in trust-based philanthropy. 100% of all donations go to these Impact Partners.

  • LIVE OUT JUSTICE

We LIVE OUT JUSTICE in our daily lives by engaging in new relationships, using our voices, skills and resources to uplift and empower BIPOC organizations and people. We won’t always get it right, but we will act in courage.

100% of your donations go to our Impact Partners!

 It Takes A Team

We are a Giving Collective. Here’s what we fund.

With the 100% tax deductible gifts of our Aspiring Allies, we support organizations that seek the flourishing of the BIPOC communities in the areas of:

  1. Health and Wellness

  2. Education

  3. Community Development:

includes housing, job skills, restorative justice & economic development.

Our aim is to provide funding with these basic tenets:

1. Break down systems of racial injustice and inequity
2. Empower, create equity and uplift the BIPOC community
3. Foster growth and transformation
4. Fund organizations with diversity in their leadership/staff
5. Serve communities in the United States
6. Organizations serve at least a 75% BIPOC population
7. 50% of grants given based on relationships or connections to our ally community

What we don’t fund

1. Special events
2. Government agencies
3. Political Campaigns, PAC
4. Foreign projects or entities

100% of Ally donations go to fund initiatives. A separate group of supporters, called Trellis Partners, fund our operating expenses.

OUR LOGO pays homage to the African symbol for Ubuntu (oo-boon-tu) which simply means,

"I am what I am because of who we all are."

Our flourishing is intertwined with the flourishing of everyone. Ubuntu embodies the idea of kindness, connectedness, collaboration, community and mutual caring for all. The three circles represent our three tenets of learning, giving and living out justice, which are always open and welcome to anyone who wants to sojourn with us.

We all have a beginning story. This is ours.
