Join us for our 5-week book cohort as we follow author Heather McGhee on a journey across the United States to explore how racism affects and hurts us all, regardless of race or ethnicity.

We chose this book for its accessibility and storytelling and invite in all Flourish learners. This book is perfect for new allies interested in understanding the impact of racism in their communities. Longtime Flourish members and justice-seekers will appreciate opportunities to seek out parallel learning from recent Flourish events (like our Just Action cohorts) and make this learning relevant in everyday conversations. The Sum of Us is the perfect spring read for this election year!
